She achieved nearly 305,000 cd sales,claiming No.1 hit on the most credible American Billboard, which was known as "the biggest return of this year" in American pop world. Whitney Houston's new album doesn't follow the trend alone, but pleases her fans with a simple and confident style. Though her sound ruined by drugs can not be as resounding as before,her hoarse voice filled with the felling of vicissitude of life shall easily touch people to the heart. While she is proving her ability with her competence, Whitney Houston is still positively faced with interviews from media. Recently in the exculsive interview of famous Talking Show hostess Oprah Winfrey,she sincerely explained the unbearable history during the period of indulging the drugs.

Whitney was catapulted to a level of stardom after recording the song "I Will Always Love You" to The Bodyguard in 1992, but gradually lost her peace and became hasty. After she got married to ex-husband Bobby Brown, she surprisingly suffered family violence, started to take drugs because of him and even could not stop drugs later. In the most decadent period, she left herself alone wearing pajamas at home for 7 months to enjoy the pleasure drugs brought to her. In 2002, Whitney was discovered to have possessed drugs in her luggage, thus beginning years of struggle against drugs,during which she was also caught in the swirl of divorce issue,and went into endless troubles. However, Whitney didn't owe the responsibility to her ex-husband but admited her fault bravely in the show.
